I'm a Cincinnati actor and singer cultivating moments of beauty, hope, and wonder in everyday life.
I love language and wordplay. My process includes a lot of textual analysis, and, depending on the piece, research into social customs and history of the period. I also draw inspiration from images and music that capture the essence of a character or the world of the story. That prep gives me a foundation from which I can explore physicality and experiment and play with my fellow actors.
My favorite scenes are often those where I have no lines but have the important task of listening and living in the moment, fleshing out the scene and directing the audience’s focus to the other actor.
When I'm not performing, you can find me crafting with sea glass, reading or watching British murder mysteries, and singing Gilbert and Sullivan to Canada geese.
